Job Description:
In order to keep up with the demand for new features in DataRobot, we are looking to grow our backend engineering team. The primary responsibilities of this team include developing new data science tools, crafting and supporting our APIs, and instrumenting DataRobot to integrate with enterprise IT infrastructure. Our team uses the following technology on a routine basis: flask, docker, pytest, MongoDB, redis, nginx, OpenSSL and LDAP, among many others.

What does it take?
- Develop, test, and support features of DataRobot
- Build and maintain automated unit tests and functional tests
- Design infrastructure for new features with the input of peers
- Lead individual projects and milestones with abundant communication of progress
- Seek, give, and receive critical feedback in a constructive manner, including but not limited to code review
Is this You?
- 3+ years of development experience in Python
- Proven knowledge of computer science fundamentals, whether by a degree or otherwise
- Personal strive and ambition to get things finished
- Effective communication behavior
- Experience with both Python 2 & 3
- Production experience supporting user-facing code and APIs
- Deep expertise writing clean, debuggable code and test driven development
Candidates can distinguish themselves with the following criteria:
- 8+ years of development experience.
- Publicly reviewable contributions to exciting development projects.
- Experience with R
- Experience with Java / JVM
- Experience with the standard scientific library toolkit for data science (sklearn, numpy, pandas, etc.)
